General contractors can publish bid projects publicly or make them private to invited participants, then share plans and manage bidding activity. The plan room supports document viewing, uploading, downloading, and versioning, with unlimited storage for general contractors. Branded invitations can be sent to recipient lists assembled from past projects or subcontractors filtered by trade, group, location, and proximity. BidTracker tracks bidders and non-bidders, received bids, plan views, bid intentions, statistics, and notes. For prequalification, a form builder supports reusable questions and project-specific forms, with options to approve, deny, or rate submissions. A directory helps general contractors find commercial construction subcontractors, vendors, and manufacturers by area and trade. Subcontractors, vendors, and reprographics can access GC-branded BidPlanrooms for free, and public projects are free to view. The service lists a free plan and a 30-day trial; the General Contractor plan costs $149 a month and includes unlimited employee users, project listings, plan room storage, and other listed unlimited functions.
