AuctionSnap is web software for nonprofits running fundraising auctions. It supports silent auctions, live auctions and fund-a-need appeals for in-person, online and hybrid events. Guests bid from phones or computers without downloading an app. Organizations can add item images, descriptions and starting bids, then create custom event links. Bidding includes watchlists, automatic bids, custom bid times and Buy It Now items. Notifications can arrive by text, email or in-app message, and administrators can send in-app broadcasts. Guests check out on their phones, with an option to require a card on file before bidding. Card payments require a Stripe account and support credit cards, ACH, Apple Pay and Google Pay; Stripe processing fees apply. DonorSnap integration links guest records and transfers auction funds and additional donations. A Twilio account can provide bidding text notifications. Event transactions export to Excel. The AuctionSnap plan costs $500 a year plus a 1% Event Fee; the bundle costs $800 a year plus a 1% Event Fee.
