Arzo

What Arzo is

Arzo is an AI college application coaching platform for students. Its Essay Studio leads students through Story Mining, Story Building, and sentence-level Polish while leaving the actual essay writing to them. The service covers Common App essays, UC essays, and supplementals. Other application tools include Activities Optimizer, Fit Assessment, AI Planner, School Intelligence, and Final Drafts Tracker. Arzo is presented for students applying to college, including those who want to begin exploring their story before application deadlines. Its coaching features use Anthropic's Claude, and Arzo says essays and application materials are not used to train AI models. Drafts and AI session data remain for the length of an account plus one year; deletion requests are completed within 30 days. The service says data transmissions between user devices and its servers are encrypted and communication with Anthropic's API uses secure transmission protocols. The free plan lasts indefinitely and includes Essay Studio with two sessions, three schools, and three activities. Pro costs $29 a month and includes 40 sessions monthly, no daily cap, and School Intelligence for up to 20 schools. Users must be at least 13; those under 18 need parent or guardian review and consent to the terms.
