What Anytime Podcast Player is
Anytime Podcast Player is a free podcast app for Android and iOS, including Android phones, iPhone, and iPad. It searches a catalog of over 4 million podcasts, offers chart discovery, and lets listeners follow shows for new episodes. Playback supports speed changes, pause and resume, Android notification-shade controls, and WearOS controls. Episodes, chapters, and available transcripts can be downloaded for offline listening. The player includes dark and light themes, OPML import and export, and Podcasting 2.0 features such as chapters, funding links, persons, transcripts, and search when individual podcasts provide them. The app is described as open source and ad free. Its privacy policy says necessary app data is stored locally, the developer cannot access it, and there is no advertising or third-party tracking code. Search and charts use public iTunes and PodcastIndex APIs, while show details come from podcast RSS feeds; those services may collect query words and public IP addresses. The Free plan costs nothing.
