What Alibaba Cloud Academy is
Alibaba Cloud Academy is Alibaba Cloud’s web-based training and certification division for clients, partners, and developers. Its online programs include Clouder and Specialty courses as well as short video courses. Certification routes cover Associate, Certified, and Expert levels, alongside Professional, Capability & Competency, Clouder, and developer credentials. Some courses, certifications, specialties, exam vouchers, and memberships require payment; the annual Alibaba Cloud Academy Membership costs $19.90 a year and includes unlimited access to 130+ online training courses, access to Apsara Clouder certifications, and up to four attempts for each Apsara Clouder and Specialty certification. Academy activities require a main Alibaba Cloud account, not a RAM account. Pearson VUE exams are available at test centers or online, though online-proctored exams are unavailable in the Chinese mainland. Professional certifications are valid for two years. Badges can be shared on Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn, but not through Credly or other credential services. Students at member institutions may qualify for a free membership year and one ACA certification.
