Active Directory Change Tracker audits activity in Active Directory and records what changed, the old and new values, when and where the change happened, and who made it. It gathers incremental activity from audit-enabled Security Event logs without installing agents, then stores the history in a SQL database. Teams can also retain the original audit records. Reports cover object creation, modification and deletion, logons and logoffs, password changes, and Terminal Services activity. Search filters include time period, change type, OUs, containers, keywords, and event IDs. The tool can email real-time alerts when a domain controller’s security event log records changes, and reports can be exported to HTML, CSV, or XLSX immediately or on a schedule.
