What ActionKit is

ActionKit is advocacy, fundraising and online organizing software for progressive organizations and campaigns. Its tools support petitions, letters, surveys, calls, fundraising campaigns and action alert emails. Email features include personalization, segmented targeting, A/B testing, scheduled mailings and list hygiene, while fundraising covers one-time and recurring donations, targeted asks and donation management. Users can direct letters and calls to U.S. state or federal legislators or custom targets, and deliver signatures through email, petition drop tools or the Communicating with Congress API. Event tools cover staff- and user-hosted events, recruitment, maps, reminders and reporting. Built-in reports, a point-and-click query builder and direct SQL access support analysis. The platform lists integrations with donation processors and other services, and its APIs provide data access and support creating pages, submitting user actions and sending follow-up emails. The maker says its subscription includes the whole platform and responsive support, without a lower-priced limited-functionality option. ActionKit is available only to progressive organizations and campaigns. Its release archive says the built-in Salesforce integration was scheduled to shut down in September 2026.
