Visitors can browse files by latest, featured, most liked, most downloaded, or highest rated, and filter by options such as vehicle type, script hook, trainer, mission, skin, clothing, graphics, animation, and vegetation. The site provides version history and community comments, and links to a 5mods Discord server. It is accessed on the web, though an account may be required for certain areas. Visitors may browse anonymously, while personal identification information is collected when users voluntarily submit it. Users can submit text, comments, images, videos, and other content; submissions may be publicly accessible, and the terms grant the site broad rights to use them.
