Protect an AI music release by keeping a creation record, checking the generator’s plan terms before you publish, and labeling or disclosing the track where a platform requires it. On a Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO phone, save the prompt, lyrics, source files, export, and a dated note together so you can show what you contributed and which terms applied.
Keep A Creation Record On Your Phone
Make a folder for each track in your file manager or cloud storage. Use a clear name such as 2026-09-26-night-drive-instrumental. Keep these items together:

Generate A Track With Clear Human Contributions
Write a prompt that describes the sound you want without asking for a real performer’s identity or supplying material you cannot use. For example: “Create an original, instrumental 90-second ambient track for a quiet night drive. Use a slow pulse, soft synth pads, sparse percussion, and a gradual ending. Do not imitate a named artist or use recognizable melodies.” These are creative directions, not a guarantee about what the generator will produce.
- Write your own prompt and, if needed, original lyrics. Save them in the track folder before generation.
- Use the service’s available generation and editing controls to make a draft. Keep the version you selected and note any sections or words you changed.
- If you upload a reference, use material you created or have permission to use. Record its source and permission alongside the prompt.
- Export only when the service and plan allow the file and intended use. Save the export with the creation record.
Handle Voices, Covers, And References Carefully
Do not treat a generated voice, cover, or reference-based result as cleared merely because a tool can create it. Get consent before impersonating a real person, and check both the generator’s terms and the destination platform’s rules. Spotify said vocal impersonation is allowed only when the impersonated artist has authorized it. Spotify’s announced AI protections also include AI disclosures in credits.
