We saw Xiaomi announce MIUI 12.5 at the Global Mi 11 launch last month and it seems like Mi India is gearing up to providing beta builds for a bunch of devices. The brand released a list of devices that will officially be getting the latest MIUI update in the coming months.
This list not only includes, Xiaomi phones but carries the Redmi and POCO models as well since both of these brands also use MIUI on their smartphones. This new MIUI 12.5 version focuses on performance, privacy, sounds & haptics. Some of the features which make this version stand out might not be available on budget phones due to the RAM and Processing power they need.
The brand has already been rolling out weekly beta builds of the new MIUI version in the Chinese market and will soon see this happen for Global ROMs as well. For onboarding of this beta build, the company released a signup link using which smartphone users with the eligible products can register themselves to test out this beta build early.

The rollout list still doesn’t include the new Redmi Note 10 series and the hugely popular Redmi Note 7 series for now. One thing to note here is that this is still a beta build and flashing beta software is not advised on your main phone due to critical bugs that it might have. So flash the ROM at your own risk.
