The upcoming Redmi Note 13 series from Xiaomi is set to feature a flagship-level thin bezel display, according to a reliable leaker. The Redmi Note lineup, known for its popularity and evolution, has transitioned from the budget segment to the mid-range segment with each generation.
Digital Chat Station, a renowned source, suggests that the Redmi Note 13 series will be released in the second half of 2023. While the specific name isn’t mentioned, it is expected to be called the Redmi Note 13. The highlight of these upcoming smartphones will be a 6.7-inch centered punch-hole flat OLED display. Unlike typical mid-range devices, this flexible panel will boast minimal bezels on all four sides and won’t feature plastic brackets commonly found in premium smartphones.
Based on this description, it appears that the Redmi Note 13 series will retain the exceptional display quality seen in the Redmi Note 12 Turbo (known as the Poco F5 outside mainland China). The Redmi Note 12 Turbo currently boasts one of the thinnest display bezels among mid-range smartphones.
While the available information is limited at the moment, it is expected that more details will be revealed by Digital Chat Station in the coming days. The Redmi Note 12 series was launched in China in late October, suggesting a similar timeline for the release of the Redmi Note 13 series. International markets may witness its official debut in early 2024.
