After a rather lackluster performance by the Poco X4 Pro compared to its predecessor the Poco X3 Pro, the word is out that the Poco X5 Pro would be debuting in India towards the end of this month, tipster Yogest Brar revealed. Accompanying the Pro version would be the base Poco X5 as well. Tipster Brar claimed the Poco X5 Pro due to launch in India soon is in reality the rebranded Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition that was launched in China recently.
If that be true, the Poco X5 Pro can be expected to come with a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display having a resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Under the hood, there likely is going to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor coupled with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage on the top-end model. The phone is also expected to come with a 5000 mAh battery that would be backed by 67 W fast charging.
For optics, there likely is going to be a triple lens arrangement at the rear where a 108 MP primary sensor would no doubt be its biggest USP. Accompanying the same is an 8 MP ultra-wide angle sensor and a 2 MP macro shooter. For selfies and video calls, there is going to be the 16 MP front shooter.
More details awaited. Stay tuned.
