POCO is gearing up to launch its newest smartphone, the POCO F4 GT in the Global markets on April 25th. The brand has now teased a bunch of other accessories that will be launched alongside the phone. One such product is their first smartwatch. While you may think this is something new, in reality, the brand is rebranding another Xiaomi/Redmi product.
As per the leaked information, the POCO Watch will be a rebranded Redmi Watch 2 that launched in China last year. The watch gets a squircle dial and a 1.6-inch AMOLED display. It has a resolution of 360x320px and gets curved corners. The watch will run on RTOS and get support for 117 fitness modes, including 17 professional workout types. It will be a 31g light-weight body, ATM water resistance, pack GPS, SpO2, and sleep monitoring.
Given how the Redmi Watch 2 gets a 12 days battery, we think the POCO Watch will also get the same 225mAh battery with a rated 12 days of battery life and get a brand-new magnetic pogo-pin charger. We expect the watch to come in Blue, Black, and Ivory color options. As for the price, the POCO watch could retail for $50 in the Global markets.
