This is the first 5G smartphone from POCO to be launched in India. While the brand had been only focusing on 4G products, the sudden entry of the Realme 8 5G, forced POCO to bring this to India.
The phone is powered by the Dimensity 700 SoC which is quite popular in the budget 5G smartphone segment and performs fairly well. The phone gets a refreshed design which has been the case with recent POCO smartphones. While under the hood, there isn’t much to talk about, there is a fairly large 90Hz refresh rate Full HD+ LCD panel on which is color accurate.
On the battery front we get a large 5,000mAh cell and to top this off there is a triple rear camera setup with a main 48MP sensor that is average at best. Overall, the POCO M3 Pro is a phone that you could look at right now if 5G is an important factor for you.
