Can You Make Money In AI Music? A Guide For Xiaomi Users

AI music can earn money through monetized content, releases, or client work, provided the track and plan allow that use. Here is how Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO users can choose a workflow and check the rights and platform limits.

Yes, you can earn money from AI music, but generating a track does not guarantee income or give you the same rights on every service. The practical route is to make music for a defined use, confirm that your plan permits that use, and publish or license the result where an audience or client can find it. For Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO users, Soundverse AI Beat Maker, Musicful, and Suno have stated Android availability; their commercial-use terms differ.

How AI Music Can Earn Money

  • Video and social content: Use an eligible track in your own videos, podcasts, or other content, then earn through the platform or audience if you qualify. Musicful says its downloaded tracks can be used in content such as videos, podcasts, and audiobooks and monetized under a non-exclusive perpetual license. Suno says paid-subscriber songs can be used in videos and published in an album, subject to its terms.
  • Streaming releases: Musicful says its text-to-music tracks can be shared on streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music. A release still needs a suitable license and must meet the distributor and platform rules; check those requirements before uploading.
  • Client work: A track may be useful as music for a client video, podcast, advertisement, or game if the plan and license cover that specific use. Loudly describes commercially licensed uses including client work, ads, games, podcasts, and social platforms, while its paid licensing rights depend on plan terms.
  • Commissions and custom production: You can offer a finished, edited piece to a client, but the value comes from meeting a brief and delivering usable files, not from AI generation alone. Confirm the service license and client terms before accepting payment.

Which Tools Have A Supported Commercial Route?

Tool What The Supplied Terms Establish Phone-Relevant Detail
Soundverse AI Beat Maker A commercial license is available for releasing and monetizing tracks; Creator & Pro plan details list commercial licenses. Available on Android; exports full beats and separated stems as WAV.
Musicful Commercial use is limited to Standard/Pro; Free/Basic is non-commercial. Its FAQ describes a non-exclusive perpetual license for downloaded music, while Musicful retains ownership. Web and Android apps; MP3 and WAV downloads are listed.
Suno The Free plan does not include commercial rights. Suno says paid-subscriber songs may be used commercially; check the current plan terms for your intended use. Available on Android and web; supports editing and stem export, with plan limitations.
Loudly Its directory entry says paid Personal includes commercial licensing, and its product page describes commercially licensed music. Rights depend on plan terms. Web-based; generated free tracks are limited to 30 seconds.
AIVA Free is non-commercial. Standard annually permits monetization on specified social platforms; Pro annually is described as allowing monetization without restrictions and ownership of copyright. Vocal generation is unavailable.

How To Make A Track More Useful To A Buyer Or Audience

Start with a use case instead of asking for a generic “hit.” A creator needs music that fits a particular duration, mood, and scene; a client needs a deliverable that fits a brief. For example, a prompt could be: “Instrumental background music for a 45-second phone-camera travel reel: warm, relaxed electronic pulse, gentle percussion, no vocals, a clear opening and a tidy ending.” This is a brief to adapt to the chosen tool, not a claim that every tool accepts duration or arrangement controls.

  1. Pick one intended use. Decide whether the track is for your own video, a streaming release, or a client. The license needed depends on that destination.
  2. Draft a specific brief. State vocal or instrumental, mood, broad style, intended scene, and the kind of ending you want. Do not name a living artist or ask for a recognizable person’s voice.
  3. Generate and revise selectively. Compare candidates against the brief. Where the tool supports editing, make targeted changes; Soundverse supports stems and MIDI editing, while Musicful supports lyric edits and extensions.
  4. Export and finish for the use. Soundverse offers WAV mixes and separated stems; Musicful lists MP3 and WAV downloads. Use only the export and editing features your chosen service and plan actually provide.
  5. Check rights before publishing or delivery. Save the plan and license information that applies to the track, and verify that it covers the exact platform, client, and monetization method.

What Can Stop A Track From Earning?

  • A plan that excludes commercial use: Free or basic access is not automatically cleared for monetized publishing. For example, Suno Free excludes commercial rights, Musicful Free/Basic is non-commercial, and AIVA Free is non-commercial.
  • Repetitive uploads: YouTube renamed its repetitious-content monetization rule to the inauthentic-content policy on July 15, 2025. The policy targets mass-produced, repetitive, or template-based uploads, rather than AI use by itself. A batch of near-identical tracks with minimally changed visuals may therefore be a weak channel strategy. Policy timeline
  • Disclosure for realistic synthetic content: YouTube requires a label for realistic altered or synthetic content that could be mistaken for a real person’s performance. YouTube policy clarification
  • Limited copyright protection: The U.S. Copyright Office says wholly AI-generated material is not copyrightable, prompts alone do not make someone the author, and human-authored parts of a mixed work may be protected. Applicants registering a work with more than a minimal amount of AI-generated material must disclose it and describe the human contribution. This is a U.S. copyright statement, not a guarantee about how other countries or platforms will treat a track. U.S. Copyright Office AI report

Rights Checks For Voices, Covers, And Samples

Use voices, lyrics, recordings, and samples only when you have the necessary consent or permission. A tool’s commercial-use license does not itself establish that you have permission to imitate a real person’s voice, use someone else’s composition, or incorporate a recording you do not control. Check the generator’s terms and the terms for each publishing or distribution service, especially for voice cloning, covers, and uploaded reference audio.

A Practical Starting Point On Android

For a first attempt from a Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO phone, Soundverse is the clearest fit if you want instrumental beats and editable stems; Musicful is an option for vocal songs and mobile revision; Suno is a broader song workspace. Start with a small, distinct set of tracks for one clear use, and confirm the applicable commercial terms before spending time on promotion or accepting a client job. No supplied information establishes likely earnings, listener demand, distributor acceptance, or a guaranteed revenue level, so treat income as uncertain and check those specifics with the service and platform you plan to use.
