Record A Clear Humming Take On Your Phone
- Open the audio recorder already available on your phone and make a short recording in a quiet room. Keep the phone a comfortable distance away and hum the melody alone; avoid music playing in the background.
- Hum the whole phrase at a steady pace, then leave a brief pause and hum it again. This gives you a second take to compare if the first is unclear.
- Listen back once. If you hear room noise, speech, or a clipped beginning, record it again. Save the cleanest take somewhere you can select it when uploading or referencing audio.
Generate The First Song In Mureka
- Open Mureka and look for its reference-audio song-generation workflow. Upload or select your recording only if its current interface accepts that audio as a reference.
- Describe what should happen around the hum. For example: “Build a gentle pop song around the melody in my reference. Keep the hummed tune recognizable, add a warm lead vocal, light drums, bass, and a clear chorus.” The prompt is a creative direction, not a guarantee that the melody will be preserved.
- Generate a version and listen for the shape of your tune: its rising and falling notes, pauses, and repeated phrase. If the result changes the melody too much, try a shorter, cleaner recording or state which part of the reference matters most.
- Once the direction is close, use Mureka’s listed editing, remixing, or extension options to develop the song. For instance, ask for a fuller chorus or an added ending if the available controls let you specify that change.
Try Eleven Music If You Want To Edit Sections
- Open Eleven Music and check whether its audio-reference workflow accepts your humming recording. The listed reference-audio feature does not specify humming recognition or exact melody retention.
- Pair the reference, if accepted, with a concise direction such as: “Use the hummed phrase as the main melodic idea; make a mellow acoustic pop song with a short verse and a bigger chorus.” Verify the result by listening rather than assuming the generated melody matches your take.
- Use section editing or genre transitions, which are listed features, to revise a part that is not working. Check the current interface for the available controls before planning a specific edit.
What To Do If The Tune Does Not Carry Through
