- YouTube’s renamed inauthentic-content policy targets mass-produced, repetitive, or template-based uploads; it does not prohibit AI use by itself. The July 2025 policy change explains the scope.
- YouTube requires disclosure of realistic altered or synthetic content that could be mistaken for a real person’s performance. The July 2026 clarification describes the label requirement.
