Yes. Record your humming or voice memo on your Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO, then upload it as a reference to an AI music tool that supports audio input. Suno, Mureka and Eleven Music fit this workflow. The recording guides the song, but the tools’ entries do not establish that they will reproduce your exact melody, so listen to the result and refine it.
Prepare A Clear Voice Memo
- Open your phone’s Recorder app. If you do not see it, search your app drawer for “Recorder.” The exact app and controls can vary by Xiaomi model and software version.
- Record the idea by itself. Hum or sing the melody at a steady pace. Keep background music and noise low, and add a short spoken note if you want to remember the intended mood or lyrics.
- Save the recording and check its playback. Make sure the melody is audible from beginning to end. The listed upload limits differ by service; check the tool’s current upload requirements if the file is rejected.
- Open the chosen tool in your browser or app. Suno is listed for web, iOS and Android. Mureka and Eleven Music are listed as web-based tools. If a web upload picker opens, choose the saved memo from your phone’s audio or recent files.

Turn The Memo Into A Song
Step 1: Upload The Recording
In Suno, start a creation and choose the audio upload option. In Mureka or Eleven Music, select the audio reference option in the song creation workflow. Pick your saved memo in the phone’s file selector. Button names and upload availability can change, so follow the current interface if its labels differ.
Step 2: Describe The Song You Want
Write a concise prompt that gives the AI direction beyond the melody. For example: “Turn this hummed melody into a warm, mid-tempo pop song with gentle drums, bass and guitar. Keep the melody recognizable, add a sung chorus, and use these lyrics: [your lyrics].” Change the style and instrumentation to suit your idea. The services support song generation with vocals and instrumentation; the exact result depends on the prompt and reference.

Step 3: Generate And Listen
Start generation, then play the result on your phone. Compare the main melody with your memo and listen for unwanted changes, awkward lyrics or a vocal style you did not intend. If the reference does not come through clearly, try a cleaner recording or simplify the prompt before generating again.

Step 4: Refine The Parts That Need Work
Use Suno’s editing, remixing, extensions or section replacement to adjust a passage. Mureka supports remixing, extensions and multitrack editing; its Studio access is listed for the Premier plan. Eleven Music supports section editing and inpainting. Describe the specific change you want, such as a softer verse or a fuller chorus, rather than rewriting the whole prompt.
Step 5: Export Or Save The Version You Want
When satisfied, use the tool’s available save or export controls. Suno lists stem export, though its Free Plan excludes stem separation. Mureka lists audio and MIDI export, with up to 12-stem splitting on Premier. Eleven Music lists stems and MP3/WAV exports. Export availability depends on the plan and current service terms; check those before choosing a format.

- Use a voice you have permission to submit. If the memo includes someone else’s voice, get their consent before uploading it or generating a song with it.
- Check each service’s terms before publishing or monetizing. Suno’s Free Plan does not include commercial rights. Eleven Music’s Free plan is for personal use, and its commercial rights vary by plan and exclude film, TV and studio games. Mureka’s license terms are not established here; check the vendor’s current terms.
- Keep the original memo. It gives you a reference for comparing later versions and lets you start over without recording the idea again.
